Made by local artist Karen Ellis these brooches are made from a painting Karen free machine embroidered over the top. The wire was collected from the beach at Wester Ross and stitched on. The numbers on the back are made from number stamps her grandad brought back from the war. All the fabric is upcycled and is stitched onto oak flooring off cuts.
Each measures approximately 6cm.
