Now you’ve baked your cakes with the lovely fruit mix from Weigh Ahead
you’ll be needing marzipan and there is nothing simpler to make. I just made this in less than 10 minutes – from weighing the ingredients to mixing in my food mixer.
Ingredients (all available from Weigh Ahead)
- 250g ground almonds
- 125g icing sugar
- 125 caster sugar
- 1 egg
If you like you can add vanilla (I used vanilla sugar – remember I suggested keeping a jar of sugar with your used and dried vanilla pods?)
Or you can add a little almond essence and/or brandy. Personally I don’t think it needs it.
